today I wanna introduce to you 2 great addons for FireFox.

Bookmark Duplicate Detector

Well it does what it says it does :) If you are a crazy bookmarker like me then you need that tool otherwise you are lost. Just after installing it I was able to find about 50 duplicate entries :)))

FoxSaver

Yeah it is a screen saver that
- runs through FF
- has its own database with pictures
- and it is pretty cool

However, it does more. It transforms every webpage with fotos into a slide show. So if you are on flickr this addon is the thing you too chill back and enjoy the pictures :)))

attempts to steal Skype usernames and passwords. This trojan
purports itself as a “Skype-Defender” plug-in for Skype. It displays a
fake login window to trick the user into entering the login credentials:

I am freak as it comes to more space on the computer screen. So recently I found a bunch of add-ons all telling me they will put many of my FF icons into one or few button(s) or side-bar(s). Well after some testing I found the champion around those type of extensions :)

Compact Menu 2 (Customised version of Compact Menu extension, which replaced the original menubar boxes into a single button or icon.)

The dodgy-looking cheap Microsoft Office offer for students to combat piracy that has set the model for the rest of the world
is returning to Australia on October 15. Australian university students will again be able to purchase a copy of Office Ultimate for $75 (same as last time) at the itsnotcheating.com.au website from Monday. Students who already purchased a copy through last year’s program will not be able to purchase an additional copy (no step 4. profit!).

A lot of students last year complained about the large download - at around 500MB, so this year they’ve added the ability to order a CD copy if you require and at a price I assume. From what I have been told, one of the reasons Microsoft has been able to offer this at such a low price is by avoiding media duplication and transport costs, thus I assume this CD won’t come cheap.

I also asked about whether or not Office for Mac
will also be included in the offer, but unfortunately it won’t be. The
reason is due to technical limitations with the Mac version of Office
and the trial conversion feature which this offer relies on.

The Australian offer will run until May 2008, so don’t miss out, again.

I just found that game. Quite funny to spend some time with it :) The point is to smash the tomato with the domino piece. You have 18 sec to do that. Use all the pieces and get bonus seconds, if you don't you get seconds deducted equal to the not used pieces.

Europe reported the second-most searchers (210 million) and searches (18 billion), followed by North America, with 206 million searchers and 16 billion searches. The Latin American region demonstrated the heaviest search activity per person, with more than 95 searches per searcher in August. The search market in the Middle East-Africa region is the most underdeveloped thus far, with the fewest searchers (30 million), searches (2 billion), and searches per searcher (70).

Excel 2007 hotfix MUST INSTALL

hi all

here is a hot issue. As you know the donwloadsquad found that Excel 2007 cannot do math :) There was a huge error in the program. Interesting how no one else found that. Even I did not notice and I work with the program every single day. What they give as an example is 850 times 77,1 which according to Excel 2007 is 100000 and not 65535 :) hahaha check it out if you don't believe me...

They found that on 25th sept. 2007 and Microsoft was able to fix it on the 9th of October :) hahaha Anyway they ware able to fix it. Cheers to that. Here you can get the patch (hotfix) and HERE is to the direct MS download of the file.
